Doug Tisdale is a Director in Gantry’s Los Angeles office. During his over four years at Gantry, he has been involved in arranging over 60 loans totaling $1.3B in financing. Previously, Doug worked as an asset manager for shopping mall REIT Macerich managing a portfolio of 15 regional shopping centers generating over $100M in NOI. His prior experience also includes several years as an industrial real estate broker for Grubb & Ellis, where he sold and leased industrial property in the downtown Los Angeles, Vernon and Commerce markets.
Doug focuses on placing permanent, bridge, mezzanine and construction loans with capital sources including life insurance companies, banks, government agencies, CMBS lenders, private funds and credit unions. He has arranged debt for all commercial property types including industrial, multi-family, self-storage, office, retail and hotel properties. Doug has an MBA with a focus in finance from LMU and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Occidental College, where he also played baseball. He was born and raised in Southern California, currently residing in Manhattan Beach where he enjoys golf, kayaking and surfing in his spare time.
