Michael Heagerty is a Principal and the Chief Financial Officer for Gantry. He oversees the financial performance, management, and strategic direction of all business lines within the company. With a focus on expanding Gantry’s platform, he drives operational enhancements, recruiting efforts, and technology initiatives to fuel the growth of the company’s loan production and servicing capabilities.


Establishing Gantry’s Loan Servicing Department in 1994, Michael has played a key role in its evolution into one of the top private commercial loan servicers in the country, managing a portfolio representing over $18BB in loans.


A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Michael’s leadership extends beyond Gantry. He has served as Chair of the MBA’s Commercial/Multifamily Board of Governors (COMBOG) and was honored with the Distinguished Service Award from the MBA in 2022. Additionally, he is actively involved with Strategic Alliance Mortgage (SAM), a consortium of 20 leading US mortgage bankers, having previously served on its Executive Committee. Michael is also a valued member of the CCMS Designee Society as a regular instructor for the CCMS program. In his spare time, Michael works with local community-based organizations and as an election volunteer in the Bay Area.
