Alan Hergert is a Senior Director in Gantry’s Seattle office. As a recognized and respected industry name throughout the Pacific Northwest, Alan has worked in commercial mortgage banking for more than 35 years. His combined experience and market knowledge have garnered repeated successes for a broad range of client relationships, including an exclusive, long-standing correspondent relationship with Sun Life Financial, a Canada-based life insurance company.

Prior to joining Gantry, Alan was an integral part of Draper Hergert Shaw, Inc., a Seattle-based mortgage banking company. After joining the company in 1990, Alan achieved Partner five years later. In addition to maintaining an exclusive correspondent relationship with Sun Life, other key correspondent relationships include Lincoln National Life and Standard Insurance company. Alan brings an impressive origination and loan servicing portfolio with properties throughout the Pacific Northwest, Washington and Alaska, and as far east as Idaho, Montana and South Dakota.
